Meet and Greet at Bishop Chifukwa - Diocese of Dedza -10/27/2024

A visit to the Bishop's House in Dedaz was also on the agenda for this stay: In the presence of Sister Josefa, we discussed future cooperation with Bishop Chifukwa, including outstanding questions regarding the financing and management of the Nazareth Community, which belongs to the Diocese of Dedza. The aim is to create sustainable sources of income for Nazareth that will ensure that this community in Mganja is well positioned for the future (income from hosting guests in the guesthouse, selling coffee). Members of the GF Goeldner Foundation currently cover the upkeep of the Nazareth Community (salaries for 10 employees, wages, food) with around 700 euros per month from private funds.
