Renovation of the Sanitary Facilities at Home of Dreams - June 12, 2024

As previously reported in another Blog-Eintrag, the renovation of the school dormitory Home of Dreams was completed in February 2024. However, the existing washroom and toilet building on the premises remained in a very dilapidated condition. Poor hygiene remains a major issue in Malawi and is often a cause of the spread of infectious diseases.

But this is now changing for the residents of Home of Dreams!

With the financial support of the Stiftung Bildung und Kultur, we were able to commission the renovation of the sanitary facilities at Home of Dreams. The reconstruction of the building is already in full swing and making great progress.

Once the renovation is complete, the students of Tiyende Pamodzi Girls Secondary School will finally be able to focus on their studies in a peaceful, safe, and pleasant living environment.
