On our recent trip, we once again visited Luntha Clinic in Golomoti to see the progress of the new water supply system firsthand. We were impressed: the project is making great strides, and the work completed so far reflects both high craftsmanship and the strong commitment of everyone involved.

The water supply system is a crucial part of the clinic's operations — clean water is essential for hygiene, medical care, and day-to-day routines. The construction of the water tower, the laying of pipelines, the drilling for groundwater, and the installation of a wastewater tank have already been completed. The next step is to equip the water tower with a proper water tank and a corresponding solar pump.

However, the project has not been without its challenges: the significant devaluation of the Malawian Kwacha in recent weeks has led to substantial price increases, resulting in delays in the project timeline. Some of the planned tasks could not be carried out as scheduled.

Thanks to our visit and the close collaboration with our local partners, we were able to find solutions and set the next key steps in motion. We are confident that the project will be successfully completed soon — and that Luntha Clinic will very soon be able to make its important contribution to healthcare in the region.

We would like to thank all our supporters for their continued trust and the help that makes this project possible in the first place.
