Matron Cidia for the Home of Dreams

In the Home of Dreams, another hostel for 39 girls from the Tiyende Pamodzi Girls Secondary School, which is financed by the GF Goeldner Foundation, Matron Cedia looks after the girls. She is responsible for keeping the grounds tidy and is accepted by the girls as a kind of mother for everything. In this way, she contributes to the education and safety of the students. The GF Goeldner Foundation finances Cidia's salary (approx. 80 euros a month). Cedia has her own small accommodation in the hostel. We brought a ship's bell with us from Kiel, so that the students don't miss class, so Cidia wakes them up early in the morning.
